Kiyoshi Kuramiya
An homage poster created for class remembers the life of Kiyoshi Kuramiya, an AIDS activist and Civil Rights leader.

Supported by his body of work and dedication to justice Kiyoshi remains one of my personal heroes.
The hope was that by referencing the visual style of Reid Miles and Francis Wolff, the graphic designer, and photographer for Blue Note Records, I would be able to convey the same intimacy and fluidity of his style in my final design.
