A Deck of Cards

The nostalgia, grit, classic look, and smell of fishing make for a grand image of a pastime that usually garners a reaction somewhere between serene memory and oddball hobby. 

But what makes for the most accessible, tactile and well-known part of fishing? 

It’s got to be the bait. But not the gruesome chum and guts of deep-sea fishing. The quirky bobbers, shimmering swimbaits, adorable fish eggs, and masterfully crafted flies are perfectly iconographic.
